The museum has lots of interesting info about the origins of the Pass-a-grille community. Located in the heart of the Pass-A-Grille historic district, the Gulf Beaches Historical Museum is located in the first church built on a Pinellas County barrier island. Exhibits found in the museum examine the history and culture of Pinellas County's barrier islands. The museum is home to an extensive collection of photographs, newspaper clippings and artifacts. The museum is staffed by volunteers, many of whom are intimately familiar with Pass-A-Grille's history and its pioneer families.

A Little Room for Art is a co-operative for over 35 local artists who help to staff and run the gallery. They have hundreds of original art pieces ranging from handmade jewelry, ceramics, pottery, wood and fired sculpture, unique T-shirts, fiber art, fine wall art and much more - all in the confines of three rooms and a delightful garden full of garden art.   Opened in Pass-A-Grille, the historic section of St. Pete Beach, Florida in 2000 with seven artists whose mission was to share in the privileges and responsibilities of presenting and selling their artwork; also to enable the community to purchase original works of art directly from the artist at moderate prices. The artists are juried in to the gallery to ensure quality work, and the artwork is constantly changing.
